For this wall tile project, I was challenged to create a simple design by folding only nine pieces of paper. The goal was to encourage us to approach design with simplicity rather than complexity, which brought its own unique challenges. I aimed to use as few folds as possible while ensuring the proportions were precise. My prototypes show the careful measurements of each fold, creating a cohesive flow across the tiles. The angled folds in the paper allow for a smooth visual transition from piece to piece, enhancing the overall design. Through this project, I learned the power of simplicity and precision in design, and how small, intentional adjustments can create harmony across multiple elements. This experience has deepened my understanding for minimalistic approaches that achieve impactful results.
